A-pillar upper trim, removing and installing

NOTE: The following list refers to Fig 1.

A-pillar, upper trim
- Removing:
  - Remove jacket hook -5-. See COAT HOOK, REMOVING .
  - Remove handle -8-. See GRAB HANDLE, REMOVING .
  - Remove door seal in area of trim.
  - Remove trim to B-pillar toward vehicle center.

- Number varies depending on build year
Nut insert
Coat hook
- Remove. See COAT HOOK, REMOVING .
Phillips-head screw
- 5 Nm (44 in.lb.)
Phillips-head screw
- 5 Nm (44 in.lb.)

Front handle
- Remove. See GRAB HANDLE, REMOVING .
