Adaptation after replacing the instrument cluster: Notes

NOTE:
  • The instrument cluster (immobilizer) is adapted to the Engine Control Module. When the instrument cluster is replaced, the new instrument cluster must be re-adapted to the Engine Control Module (ECM).
  • After adapting the instrument cluster to the Engine Control Module, vehicle key adaptation must be performed. See ADAPTATION OF VEHICLE KEYS  .
  • Adaptation can be interrupted using the "C" button of the VAG 1551 scan tool.
