Input values for replacing instrument cluster: Notes

The following must always be observed when replacing the instrument cluster:

NOTE:
  • Instrument cluster must always be coded.
  • Note the values indicated in measuring value blocks 10 - 15 on the VAG 1551 scan tool before replacing.
  • Adaptation channels 42 - 44 must not be transferred to the new instrument cluster.
  • Note odometer reading before replacing and input according to instructions.
  • In countries with speedometers calibrated in miles, adaptation of the Service Reminder Indicator (SRI) can be performed in miles.
