NOTE: In performance of Output Diagnostic Test Mode using the VAS5051 tester, the text is shown on the display. Only figures are displayed if the VAG1551 tester is used (see below e.g. 01782/Literature)

Confirm the entry using the Q button.

01782: Vehicle is adjusted to standard height.

The indicator light on the instrument cluster flashes at 1 Hz.

Check visually whether the vehicle is horizontal.

Press the --> button.

NOTE: The indicator light flashes at 1 Hz throughout the final control test.

01783: Actuation of the LED's on the self leveling suspension system operating unit.

All LED's on the operating unit illuminate in sequence.

Press the --> button.

01784: Vehicle is lowered at front left.

The vehicle is lowered at front left by releasing air until the --> button is pressed or until the stop time (approx. 30 s).

Press the --> button.

01785: Vehicle is lowered at front right

The vehicle is lowered at front right by releasing air until the --> button is pressed or until the stop time (approx. 30 s).

Vehicle is raised back to standard height at the front.

Check DTC Memory. See DTC TABLE, FOUR-WHEEL SELF LEVELING SUSPENSION SYSTEM .
