At time of publication, the optional parking aid system (also know as "Acoustic park assist" or " Parktronic (R) " ) is only available as a 4-channel system that monitors the area to the rear of the vehicle.
The system is activated automatically whenever the vehicle is shifted into reverse.
Before troubleshooting or servicing, technicians must be familiar with the functions and operation specifics of the parking aid system. Always read the owners manual and review applicable system functions and operation limitations.
