Transmission gear oil, checking level

Procedure
NOTE:
- The vehicle must be horizontal when checking gear oil level.
- To check gear oil level, unscrew oil filler plug - arrow -.
Check oil level with a suitable tool (such as a length of wire bent to shape).
- Specification: Oil level 2mm +-1mm below lower edge of oil filler hole.
- Top off with gear oil if necessary. Specification → Code letters, assignment of mechanical units, transmission ratios, capacities .
- Screw in oil filler plug.
