Gear shift knob with boot, removing and installing

NOTE:

The gear lever knob is removed together with the gear lever boot and the cover for the center console.

Removing

Open ashtray.
Unclip cover for center console and lift it off - arrows -.

Gear shift knob with clip:

Pull boot up and over gear lever knob.
Open clip - arrow - and pull off gear lever knob together with boot.

Gear shift knob with locking mechanism:

Release connecting piece - 1 - in direction of - arrow - and pull gear lever knob off upwards together with gear lever boot.

Installing

Perform installation in reverse sequence of removal.
