Vehicles with 6-cylinder engine

Removing 

• Remove front right wheel.
• Remove generator. Refer to Removing .

• Remove heat shield for right drive shaft -arrows-.

• Disconnect cable for terminal B+ -2-.
• Disconnect connector for terminal 50 -1-.
• Remove heat shield -3- from solenoid switch.
• Remove starter mounting bolts -arrows-, detach starter.

Installing 

Installation is reverse of removal, paying attention to the following:

• Install generator. Refer to Installing , observe instructions for connecting battery.
