Knock control stop, checking

If a DTC entry relating to "knock control stop reached" is made, perform the following checks:

IDENTIFYING KNOCK SENSOR CAUSES AND CORRECTIONS

	Possible causes	Correction
DTC for all cylinders or DTC for all cylinders of one bank	Poor fuel quality	Change fuel quality (see operating instructions)
	Knock sensor tightened with incorrect torque	Loosen sensor and tighten to 20 Nm
	Knock sensor faulty	Check knock sensor. See KNOCK SENSOR (KS) 1 -G61- AND KNOCK SENSOR (KS) 2 -G66-, CHECKING .
	Corrosion on connector
	Loose components on engine	Secure components
DTC for one cylinder	Engine malfunction	Check compression
DTC for one cylinder	Loose components on engine	Secure components
