Output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM): Notes

NOTE:
  • The output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM) can only be performed with the engine stopped and the ignition switched on.
  • The output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM) is terminated if the engine is started or if an engine speed pulse is detected.
  • During the output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM) the individual control elements are actuated (approx. 1 minute) the program can be advanced to the next control element by pressing the -->key.
  • The control elements can be checked acoustically or by way of touch.
  • The electric fuel pump runs throughout the output DTM.
  • Engine must be started before repeating the output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM). (Engine control module must have recognized a speed greater than 300 rpm.)
