Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) -K83-, function: Notes

If exhaust-related malfunctions are recognized by the engine control module these are indicated by switching on the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) -K83-.

NOTE: When switched on, the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) -K83 - may flash or illuminate constantly. In any case the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) memory must be checked. See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) MEMORY, CHECKING AND ERASING .
