Test requirement:: Notes

Vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system VAS 5051 with K-wire adapter VAS 6017 connected, vehicle self-diagnosis and vehicle system "55 - headlight vertical aim control" selected.

Indicated on VAS 5051:

Enter diagnostic function "04 - Basic setting" in selection -1-.

Enter display group
1. max. input value = 255

Use keypad -2- to enter "001" for "display group number 001" and confirm by pressing Q key.
- The headlights will now be moved into setting position.

NOTE: Basic setting function 1 switches off automatic range control and fault "Headlights not set" will be stored in DTC memory.
