Fuel level sensor G , removing and installing

Removing 

Observe safety precautions → Safety precautions when working on fuel supply system .

Observe rules for cleanliness → Rules for cleanliness .

• Remove fuel delivery unit → Fuel delivery unit, removing and installing .

• Release retaining tabs - arrows  - with a screwdriver and pull Fuel Level Sensor G upward and out.

• Disengage electrical connectors - 1  - and - 2  - and disconnect them.

Installing 

Installation is in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

• Connect electrical connections - 1  - and - 2  - and check that they are securely engaged.
• Insert fuel level sensor G in guides on fuel delivery unit and push down until it engages.
• Install fuel delivery unit Installing  , observing notes for connecting battery →
  • 27 BATTERY, STARTER, GENERATOR, CRUISE CONTROL
  • 27 BATTERY, STARTER, GENERATOR, CRUISE CONTROL for ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT, CABRIOLET
