Four-way lumbar support motors, removing and installing
Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required
- Engine and transmission holder VAS 6095
- Fixture for seat repair VAS 6136
NOTE:
- On the drivers seat shown in the illustration, the four-way lumbar support height adjustment motor is on the left side and the four-way lumbar support motor is on the right side.
1 - Four-way lumber support motors (Qty. 2)
- Removal:
- Remove seat → Front power seats with memory, removing and installing .
- Mount the fixture for seat repair VAS 6136 on the engine and transmission holder VAS 6095.
- Attach the front seat to the fixture for seat repair VAS 6136.
- Remove backrest cover panel → Backrest cover, removing and installing .
- Disconnect connector.
- Remove bolts or rivets.
- Disengage release at four-way lumbar support.
- Replace motor.
- Installing:
Installation is reverse of removal.
