Step 8: Diagnosis of aging of oxygen sensors upstream of catalytic converter: Condition

- Display in zone 2 must be greater than 250 °C then
- Engine idling
- Check display in zone -4-.

If specification "B1 -S1 OK" is obtained in display zone 4:
- Touch > key.
Indicated on VAS 5051:

- - Enter display group
- Use keypad -2- to enter "035" for "Display group number 035" and confirm by touching Q key.

- Activate basic setting by touching key -A-.
- Display in zone 2 must be greater than 250 °C then
- Engine idling
- Check display in zone -4-.
"B2-S1 OK" may also be displayed immediately. Then continue with the next test step. This also applies to all further test steps.
