Step 6: Diagnosis of tank leak test: Condition

Engine idling
Engine coolant temperature greater than 85°C
Intake air temperature lower than 85°C
Fuel tank filler cap opened briefly to release pressure.

Indicated on VAS 5051:

- Enter display group

Use keypad -2- to enter "071" for "Display group number 071" and confirm by touching Q key.

Indicated on VAS 5051:

Activate basic setting by touching key -A-.
Check display in zone -4-.

NOTE:

Test duration for the tank leak test takes approximately 90 seconds.
Should the diagnosis be repeated several times, open the fuel filler cap each time to release pressure in the tank.
