Safety precautions

Note the following if testers and measuring instruments have to be used in the course of a test drive: 

WARNING:
  • If measurements/tests have to be performed whilst driving, vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system VAS 5051 or V.A.G 1551Scan Tool is always to be attached to rear seat and operated from there.
  • If testers and measuring instruments were to be operated from the front passenger's seat, the person sitting there could suffer injury in the event of an accident due to the triggering of the front passenger's airbag.
