Lower Control Arm: Installation

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Always use NEW nuts and bolts. Torque fasteners to specification. Bolted connections in rubber bushings should only be torqued to specification once vehicle is resting on its own weight. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  2. After installation, position of steering wheel must be checked with a road test. If the steering wheel is crooked, an axle alignment must be performed! Check wheel alignment after servicing. See PROCEDURES & SPECIFICATIONS article in WHEEL ALIGNMENT.
