Work step 2: Erase DTC Memory

Ignition switched ON

When indicated on display

Press button -0- and -5- to select function "Erase DTC Memory" and press -Q- button to confirm input.

NOTE: When DTC memory is erased, readiness code is reset and must therefore be re-generated.

The readiness code can be generated in two methods:

The control module executes exhaust relevant tests during driving cycles at various load conditions, therefore the readiness code is self-generated.
