Automatic test sequence

Press button -0- twice to select address word "Automatic test sequence" and confirm entry with -Q- button. The VAG 1551 Scan Tool transmits all known address words in sequence.

When a control module answers with its identification, the number of stored malfunctions appears or "No DTC recognized" is displayed.

Any system malfunctions that are stored will be displayed one after the other and printed out. The VAG 1551 Scan Tool will then transmit the next address word.

The automatic test sequence has ended when the following appears on the display:

Erase all DTC memories and then perform a road test.
Check DTC memories of all control modules again using "Automatic test sequence". No malfunctions should be stored in DTC memory.

If no malfunction is stored:

Press --> button.

Press buttons -0- and -6- to select "End Output" function and confirm input with -Q- button.
