Channel 18

  1. When ADAPTATION INPUT CHANNEL NUMBER XX is displayed, press 1 and 8 (18). Press "Q" key to confirm input. CHANNEL 18 ADAPTATION 0 <-1 3-> will be displayed (0 indicates no auxiliary heater is installed). Press right arrow key. CHANNEL 18 ADAPTATION 0 INPUT ADAPTATION VALUE XXXXX will be displayed.
  2. Enter desired adaptation value. See AUXILIARY HEATER CODES  table. For example, enter 00001. Press "Q" key to confirm input. CHANNEL 18 ADAPTATION 1 <-1 3-> will be displayed. Press "Q" key to confirm input.
  3. CHANNEL 18 ADAPTATION 1 STORE CHANGED VALUE will be displayed. Press "Q" key to confirm input. CHANNEL 18 ADAPTATION 1 CHANGED VALUE IS STORED will be displayed. Press right arrow key to complete adaptation of auxiliary heater.

Adaptation Code Definition
00000 No Auxiliary Heater Installed
00001 Auxiliary Heater That Operates When Engine Is Running Or Not
00010 Auxiliary Heater That Only Operates When Engine Is Running
