Possible Causes & Corrective Action
Open or short in Violet/Black wire between terminal No. 5 of instrument cluster Blue 32-pin harness connector and terminal No. 2 of fuel level sensor. See Figure and Fig 1 . Open or short in Brown wire between terminal No. 3 of fuel level sensor and ground located behind left side of dashboard. Faulty fuel level sensor. Repair wiring or replace fuel level sensor.
