Three-point seat belt with belt tensioner, removing and installing
1 - Belt tensioner
- Removing three-point seat belt
- Disconnect battery.
- Remove rear seat bench → Rear seat bench, removing and installing .
- Remove appropriate rear seat backrest → Rear seat backrest, removing and installing .
- Unbolt anchorage point on outer floor panel → Outer floor panel anchorage point .
- Remove appropriate side trim → Rear side trim, removing and installing .
- Remove B-pillar brace → B-pillar brace, removing .
- Unbolt anchorage point for guide fitting → Belt guide fitting anchorage point .
- Disconnect connector - 4 - at belt tensioner.
- Remove screw - 3 - (1x).
- Remove belt tensioner - 1 - with locating piece - 2 - from mounting - 5 -.
- Installing
- After installing passengers side three-point seat belt, check belt function for child seat → Seat belt restraint function for holding additional child seats, checking (not for drivers seat belt) .
2 - Locating piece
3 - Screw (1x)
- Tightening torque 55 Nm
4 - Belt tensioner connector
5 - Mounting
NOTE:
- After connecting the battery, check vehicle equipment (radio, clock, electric windows) → 91 RADIO, TELEPHONE, NAVIGATION, TRIP COMPUTER or Owners Manual.
- If the Airbag Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) K75 signals a malfunction after performing repair procedures then the DTC memory must be erased and checked again with vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system VAS 5051 A Scan Tool (ST).
