Cooling system, checking for leaks: Notes

Test requirement: 

• Engine at operating temperature.

• Remove cap from coolant expansion tank.

• Install tester V.A.G 1274 with adapter V.A.G 1274/8 onto expansion tank.
• Using hand pump on tester, build up a pressure of approx. 1.0 bar.
• If this pressure drops, locate leak and repair.
