Erase DTC Memory (scan tool function 05): Requirements

• DTC memory checked. See CHECK DTC MEMORY (SCAN TOOL FUNCTION 02)  .
• All malfunctions repaired

After DTC memory has been successfully checked:

Indicated on display

• Press buttons -0- and -5- to select "Erase DTC Memory" function 05.

Indicated on display

• Press -Q- button to confirm input.

Indicated on display

DTC memory is now erased.

• Press --> button.

Indicated on display

This message indicates an error in the test sequence.
