Notes on exchanging the instrument cluster
- Do not disassemble the instrument cluster.
- All control lights that are operated with bulbs can be replaced individually. See INSTRUMENTS .
- If at all possible replace the instrument cluster with an exchange part.
- Complete the report form and return it with the instrument cluster.
- Always use the original packaging for the return shipment.
- The odometer reading and the service indicator can be adapted to the replacement instrument cluster using the VAG 1551 Scan Tool (ST). See ADAPTATION (SCAN TOOL FUNCTION 10) .
