Basic setting (scan tool function 04): Notes

After replacing a headlight, vehicle level control sensor on one of the axles, or the control module, a basic setting must be performed. The following must be observed:

• The vehicle must be conform to a clearly define load.
  NOTE: For the applicable specified values for the load:

  See HEADLIGHT AIM, ADJUSTING .

• Bounce the car (shock absorbers must move up and down and then settle again).
