Lock cylinder and push button for glove box, removing and installing: Removing

Remove glove box (see GLOVE BOX AND BRACKET FOR GLOVE BOX, REMOVING AND INSTALLING ) and place in floor outlet.
Turn vehicle key approx. 45° -a-.

Press guide tab upward.
Lock cylinder is unlocked (if necessary, correct key position slightly).
Pull out lock cylinder with vehicle key inserted.
NOTE: Shown in illustration with lock removed.
Loosen screw (arrow) through hole for lock cylinder until retaining bracket slides back.

Remove push button from front.
Turn knurled nut (arrow) for Bowden cable adjustment slightly inward so cable loosens.
