Rear SUBFRAME Mount (Aluminum): Installation

  1. Install front subframe bushing. See Fig 1 . Check whether bonded rubber bushing makes even contact. Correct installation position again if necessary. Guide tools and bonded rubber bushing during installation. Fully insert bonded rubber bushing by actuating pump.

    NOTE: Take care not to cant bonded rubber bushing at start of installation, otherwise outer race could be damaged. When installing bonded rubber bushing with special tool V.A.G 1459 B replace with correct bushing.
  2. Install front subframe bushing. See Fig 2 . Take care not to cant bonded rubber bushing at start of installation, otherwise outer race could be damaged. When installing bonded rubber bushing with special tool V.A.G 1459 B replace with correct bushing.
