Induction coil, replacing

- The induction coil is connected to the lock cylinder and cannot be replaced individually.
- The induction coil and lock cylinder must be replaced together.
- In order to restore mobility as fast as possible, perform the following sequence:
- Remove lock cylinder for steering column lock. See LOCK CYLINDER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Install replacement lock cylinder with respective lock number and do not adapt door locks.
NOTE:
The customer must operate the vehicle with two vehicle keys during delivery time.
- Order a new lock cylinder with vehicle specific lock number via the distributor or importer.
- Replace replacement lock cylinder with ordered, vehicle specific lock cylinder.
