Induction coil, replacing

The induction coil is connected to the lock cylinder and cannot be replaced individually.
The induction coil and lock cylinder must be replaced together.
In order to restore mobility as fast as possible, perform the following sequence:

Remove lock cylinder for steering column lock. See LOCK CYLINDER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Install replacement lock cylinder with respective lock number and do not adapt door locks.

NOTE: The customer must operate the vehicle with two vehicle keys during delivery time.

Order a new lock cylinder with vehicle specific lock number via the distributor or importer.
Replace replacement lock cylinder with ordered, vehicle specific lock cylinder.
