HID bulb (low beam), replacing: Installing

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 12 other vehicles, including the 2005 Audi allroad, 2004 Audi allroad, 2004 Audi A6, 2003 Audi allroad, and 2003 Audi S6. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Installation is reverse of removal, noting the following:

Insert new bulb into housing, do not touch glass cone with bare hands.
Place retaining ring -1- with both notches (arrow) onto locking lugs -3- of HID headlight -2- and then tighten by turning clockwise.

Re-connect electrical connection and close housing cover.
