Vehicles with all-wheel drive

Using multimeter US1119 (Fluke 83 or equivalent), check senders for fuel gauge individually.

NOTE:

Because of the various locations of the senders (for instance sender III is located at the top of the tank), checking individual installed senders can only be done when the tank is either empty or full.
To be sure that you will not get a wrong reading (because the senders are connected in series), always remove the harness connectors at the three senders.
