Instrument cluster, removing and installing: Notes

NOTE:
  • The instrument cluster cannot be disassembled.
  • To remove the instrument cluster it is not necessary to remove the steering wheel.
  • Before removing the instrument cluster, check DTC memory. See CHECK DTC MEMORY (SCAN TOOL FUNCTION 02) .
  • Use the VAG1551 or VAG1552 Scan Tool (ST) to check the Service Reminder Indicator (SRI) and odometer readings and record the displayed values.
