Guide Bushing: Removal

Install brake pedal support. Disconnect both rear brake lines. On vehicles with brake proportioning valve, remove brake proportioning valve from guide bushing bracket. Remove regulator spring mounting bolt from lever on brake proportioning valve. Move brake proportioning valve slightly toward center of vehicle. On all vehicles, remove both guide bushing bolts. Press axle downward to allow access. Install Tool (3294 and 3294-2) on rear axle. See Figure . Using tool, press out guide bushing. Remove tool.
