- Electrical consumers switched off (coolant fan must NOT run during test)
- Coolant temperature min. 80 °C (185 °F)
NOTE:
In some procedures you are asked to set a higher RPM with the V.A.G 1788/10 RPM adjuster. If the engine does not accept a higher RPM for specific display groups, fully engage the accelerator and brake pedals simultaneously. The engine will then reach a specifically defined RPM on its own.
