Fuel Pump (FP) and Sender for fuel gauge - component overview: Notes

The following list refers to Fig 1.
- - Union piece
- Clipped in on baffle housing -Item 2- with retaining clips
- To remove, press toward left so that retaining clips disengage and lift upward
- Insert fuel line into baffle housing when installing
- To remove the Fuel Pump (FP), union piece must be unclipped so that fuel return line (from connector flange) can be disconnected
- Different versions, allocation. See parts catalog.

- To Fuel Level Sensor 2 -G169-, located on left side of fuel tank
- Connect on connector flange

- Use ring nut spanner 3087 to remove and install
- Tighten to 145 Nm

- To remove the Fuel Pump (FP), unclip union piece and disconnect fuel return line at union piece -item 1-, release using T40020 to do so. See RELEASING HOSE COUPLING OF RETURN LINE USING RELEASE TOOL T40020 .
