Torque Specifications

CAUTION: Always use NEW axle bolts, driveshaft bolts, trapezoidal link inner bolts, lower shock absorber bolts, subframe bolts, upper control arm inner bolts and all self-locking nuts. Due to extensive use of aluminum components, use only special coated bolts to prevent corrosion.

Step 2 Turn additional 180 degrees
Driveshaft-To-Final Drive Bolts 41 (55)
Final Drive-To-Cross Member Bolt (M10) 41 (55)
Final Drive-To-Front Transmission Support Bolt (M10) 30 (40)
Fuel Tank Carrier Nut 18 (25)
Shock Absorber Lower Nut & Bolt(1) 48 (65)
Shock Absorber Piston Rod Nut (1) 22 (30)
Shock Absorber Upper Bolts (1) 18 (25)
Stabilizer Bar Mounting Bracket Bolts(3) 22 (30)
Stabilizer Bar Link Nut(1) (3) 33 (45)
Subframe-To-Body Bolts (1)
Step 1 111 (150)
Step 2 Turn additional 90 degrees
Subframe-To-Final Drive Cross Member Nut (1) 30 (40)
Tie Rod Mounting Bolts (1) , (3)

Step 2 Turn additional 90 degrees
Transverse Link-To-Wheel Bearing Housing Eccentric Nut & Bolt(3) 70 (95)
Transverse Link-To-Subframe Nut & Bolt (1) , (3)

Step 2 Turn additional 90 degrees
Trapezoidal Link-To-Sub Frame Bolt(3)

Splash Plate Bolts 89 (10)
(1) Always use NEW fasteners. Always replace self-locking nuts.
(2) To reduce risk of accident, always loosen or final tighten axle collar bolt with vehicle wheels on ground.
(3) Do not final tighten nuts/bolts until vehicle is standing on the ground.
