Electrical testing: Testing

Conduct steps recommended in DTC table only.
Switch ignition off, remove multi-pin connector from TCM -J217- (located in right side of plenum, see ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS, LOCATIONS ) and connect test box VAG 1598/20 to wiring harness connector.

If measured values deviate from specified values:

Carry out all corrective actions listed on right side of test table. See Figure .
