Adaptation (function 10): Notes

Use this function to check or initiate and store the following changes:

• Changing tire size
• Checking pulse number per wheel rotation (GALA)
• Enable/disable production diagnostic function
• Connection of own i.e. external speakers
• Changing country selection
• Dynamic route guidance adaptation

The navigation control module -J401- must be adapted for whether or not dynamic route guidance functions are activated, and if so, via what means (radio with RDS - TMC and/or telephone where applicable)

Individual functions are called up by entering the appropriate adaptation channel numbers (listed in the adaptation table. See ADAPTATION FUNCTIONS - NAVIGATION SYSTEM IV  ).

The navigation system uses the speed signal from speedometer (GALA) for calculating mileage.
