Function Mode 03: Output Diagnosis Test
- Press 03, then press "Q" key to confirm input. OUTPUT DIAGNOSTIC TEST MODE ANALOG INDICATOR will be displayed. Gauges will sweep across their full span then move to a preset position. See the GAUGE PRESET POSITION table.
- Press right arrow key. Seat belt warning light should illuminate. Press right arrow key. Warning chime should sound. Press right arrow key twice. Instrument cluster illumination light should come on bright, dim, then return to bright again.
- Press right arrow key. A/C cut-out switch should activate after 5 seconds, then 5 seconds after that overheat warning light should illuminate and warning chime should sound. Press right arrow key. FUNCTION IS UNKNOWN OR CANNOT BE CARRIED OUT AT THIS MOMENT should be displayed on scan tool. Press right arrow key to return to select function screen.
