Oil Temperature Gauge
- Disconnect oil temperature sensor harness connector. Connect Gauge Tester (VW 1301) between harness connector terminal and ground. See Fig 1.
- Turn ignition on. Set gauge tester dial to specified setting. See OIL TEMPERATURE GAUGE SPECIFICATIONS table. If oil temperature indicated by gauge does not match oil temperature specified in table, check wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . If wiring is okay, replace oil temperature gauge.
