Oil Pressure Gauge
- Disconnect oil pressure sending unit harness connector from terminal "G" on oil pressure sending unit, located on left side of cylinder block. Connect Gauge Tester (VW 1301) between harness connector and ground. See Fig 1.
- Turn ignition on. Set gauge tester dial to specified setting. See OIL PRESSURE GAUGE SPECIFICATIONS table. If oil pressure indicated by gauge does not match oil pressure specified in table, check wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . If wiring is okay, replace oil pressure gauge.
