OIL PRESSURE SPECIFICATION
| Oil pressure at idling speed | 1 to 2.5 bar |
| Oil pressure at 3000 rpm | 3 to 5 bar |
NOTE:
If the oil pressure is excessively high (for example if pressure relief valve is sticking or has been installed incorrectly) the hydraulic lifters will jam. The engine will cut out soon after starting. When attempting to start the engine again it will be noticed that the engine turns over too quickly due to lack of compression.
