Replacing Lower Bushing (Wheel Bearing Housing With Press-In Bearing)

Replace lower bushing as illustrated. Attach Tools 3292 and 3349 into groove between bushing and wheel bearing housing. See Fig 1 . Push Tool 3293/1 into bushing. Install and tighten Cross Bar 3292-2. See Fig 2 . Tighten bolt in cross bar to push bushing half out. Attach Tools 3349 into groove between remaining bushing half and wheel bearing housing. See Fig 3 . Install Tools 3349/1 and 3292/3. Tighten tool to remove remaining bushing half.

Place bushing halves on each side of wheel bearing housing. Install and tighten Thrust Piece 3292/3 on bushing to install bushing in wheel bearing housing. See Fig 4 .
