Removing and installing TCM -J217-: Removing

Switch ignition off.
Open E-box in right side of plenum by unscrewing 7 bolts (arrows).
Unclip bolt cover to unscrew bolt in upper right-hand section of illustration.

Release multi-pin connector lock -2-, then disconnect multi-pin connector from TCM. See DISCONNECTING MULTI-PIN CONNECTOR FROM TCM -J217- .
Unscrew bolts (arrows) and remove TCM from E-box.
Check container for water penetration and reseal if necessary.
