Trunk release and interior monitor, removing and installing: Removing

Remove B-pillar trim on driver side.
See B-PILLAR TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Disconnect harness connector for the switch to be replaced.
Using a small standard screwdriver, unlock the holding clips of the switch -1- (trunk release) or -2- (interior monitor) and push forward out of the trim panel of the B pillar -3-.
