Lock cylinder, removing and installing: Installing

Insert spare key/valet key in the lock cylinder and turn to position "Ignition on." Then re-insert steel wire as far as it will go into the hole in front of lock.
Push lock cylinder together with ignition key all the way into steering lock housing.
Pull wire out and push in lock cylinder firmly until catch engages audibly.
Install steering column switches and steering wheel in reverse order of removal. See Steering column switches, removing and installing .
