Output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM), initiating:

Press buttons 0 and 3.

Press Q button to confirm input. The output DTM for analog display is started immediately.

After pressing the Q button, the following instrument function checks are done simultaneously:
- Coolant temperature needle moves over complete display range
- Tachometer needle moves over complete display range
- Speedometer needle moves over complete display range
- Fuel gauge needle moves over complete display range
After all instrument display range checks, the following constant values are displayed:
- Coolant temperature gauge: 90 °C (190 °F)
- Tachometer: 3000 rpm
- Speedometer: 100 km/h (62 MPH)
- Fuel gauge: 1/2
NOTE: A gauge needle sweep that has been started will be interrupted each time the ignition is switched on and off.
Press button.

Safety belt warning light is activated.
Press button.

The chime is activated for a continued sound.
Press button.

NOTE:
- All LCD segments in the instrument cluster are activated.
- All segments of the multi-function indicator display light up, one bar remains dark.
Press button.

The illumination of the instrument cluster automatically gets bright two times and two times dark and then it is switched to bright.
Press button.

CAUTION: When continuing program with the button, the cooling fan will start running in 3rd stage!
Press button.

The A/C clutch switch is activated approx. 5 seconds later and the symbol for the coolant appears in the multi-function indicator display.
Press button.

The tester reverts back to the basic setting.
