In function "Output Diagnostic Test Mode" all sensors of the instrument cluster that are coded are activated.

The following components are checked, including engine coolant temperature display, tachometer, speedometer, fuel gauge.

• Signal for safety belt warning light
• Signal for chime
• Segment test of multi-function indicator and LCD trip recorder
• Instrument cluster illumination including dimmer
• Over-heating test: the safety switch is activated and the 3rd coolant fan stage is switched on.
