Rear window shade motor, removing and installing: Removing
- Remove hatshelf. See HAT SHELF, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Remove bolt -1- of drive disc -2- and pull out drive disc.

- Separate tie wrap -3-. See Fig 2.
- Remove connector -4-.
- Remove screws -2-.
- Remove rear window shade motor -1-.

- Check form of drive gear in drive disc.
- An intact star shaped drive gear (arrow) permits installation of motor without further measures.

- If hexagon-drive gear or star shaped drive gear drive disc are worn, replace drive disc for new star shaped gear from small parts set. See DRIVE DISC FOR MOTOR REAR SHADE, REPLACING .
